Still Saying Thanks!

I know I am a little late, but hey better late than never! We had a wonderful thanksgiving with very close friends of ours actually my line sisters and their family. What I have learned over this past year, and I am so thankful for is that God has truly blessed me with great people in my lives. When I lost my Grandmother I lost a part of myself, and although no one will ever replace her, I am so thankful that the void is able to filled with family and friends who truly care about you. I would also like to say I am so thankful for my family and the life that I have been given. In the midst of it all I sometimes forget what a blessing it is to have 4 healthy children, a roof over my head, a supportive husband, and the basic life needs. Sometimes these things can bring me stress, but in the end I am truly thankful for all these things. Now on to some thanksgiving fun! We spent thanksgiving in Atlanta this year for the second time, and as always we had a great time. Here are a few pictures of our “nontraditional” thanksgiving.

This is my son Bradly and one of my sorors daughter stepping in the name of baby love!
We had the pleasure of seeing Ike and Tina LIVE! This is our gracious host my adopted mother and my adopted brother in law singing Rolling on a river! Yes he even had the guitar!
My husband the Karaoke KING, posing after finishing one of his millions of songs he sang that night! He loves this and would probably do karaoke for a living if he could.
Even our baby daughter had to get in on the action after seeing daddy’s big performance!
So if we aren’t nontraditional I don’t know who is! Yes this is three grown adults, two being men playing twister! I have some more interesting shots that I’m sure my husband would like for me to burn, but they are way to funny! The kids sadly got booted from playing twister so that my husband and his SoRHObro could compete in a game of twister. My line sister tried to get in on the action you can see my husband trying to knock her off the mat!

Over all we had a great thanksgiving and we look forward to spending many more holiday’s with this great family! My hope is that one year my extended family and their family will combine and we will have one big celebration! I hope that your Thanksgiving was just as great and that you remember through the holiday’s all the things you have to be thankful for!
