Today was a great morning! We quickly did our school work and started blending L with our vowels. I was a little worried because we had such an off week last week with older brother being home on fall break. School was very disorganized for us. So I thought that we would take today off to re group, but decided against it. I am so glad that I did. I actually woke up before the kids this morning and was able to drink a cup of coffee and gather my thoughts before they woke up, which I think made a huge difference in my patience level. It’s something about being jolted out of your sleep by mommy mommy I’m hungry, it’s morning! Versus rolling out of bed seeing the sun shining taking a nice hot shower enjoying coffee and meditation. So my goal for the week is to wake up an hour earlier than the kids to gather my bearings! We shall see how this goes considering I usually don’t get to bed until 1 or 2 in the morning on most nights. So they are taking their naps and we are going swimming later for our physical time! What a day…
Great morning
